With my youngest son off from daycare this week, I didn’t get as many hours in work as I would have liked. It’s a skinny week this week. I have enjoyed having him home though and it makes me wonder why I’m not being a stay at home mum for him. We’ve been playing in the park, drawing, walking and gardening.

I have been working on my Etsy store. Working on tags, titles, images and descriptions of my products. I don’t mind telling you that I’ve been working hard and haven’t got much to show for it at the moment. I’m feeling pretty deflated at present.

Initial Letter Mugs now available – my original design work

I have also been working really hard on losing some weight. That to has plateaued this last week. I need to keep reminding myself why I am doing it. Some days are definitely harder than others but at least with almost no spare cash – throwing a tantrum and pigging out on deep fried chicken isn’t going to happen. I have managed to lose 5 kgs and keep it off. Just 10kgs more to go.

Pale faced parrot

Spend time watching birds. We have the occasional pale faced parrot come and dine on our native grevillea and bottle brush bush. Their beauty always amazes me. Every time I see them I can’t help but smile.

This Sunday morning has been filled cooking and Lea prep. It took me 3 hours. I would love to get quicker at cooking but it always takes me so long. This week I’ve made:

Egg, chorizo, sweet potato Breakfast muffins

Fruit Compote

Fritters

Chickpea and sweet potato croutons

Brownie

Rice pudding

Chicken Schnitzels for Wraps

Grilled Eggplant

Washed and cut all sorts or fruit and salad.

I’m exhausted but our weeks meals are prepped and ready to roll. I’m now sitting down with the kids and resting this afternoon.

Have a great week all!

Wishing you endless inspiration and flourishing creativity in your art and garden endeavors. Happy creating!
