Whispers Weekly Update 16/09/2024

Busy, busy, busy. This week has been jam packed with sports break ups, meal prep, sick adults and crazy hyper kiddos.

For the last few weeks I’ve been getting up early. I’m not a morning person, but I’ve been waking up without an alarm. A couple of days I’ve stayed in bed and slept a bit more – especially while my husband’s been really sick. Mostly, I’ve been up, a cup of coffee in one hand and my iPad in the other. I reckon I get about an hour in the morning to do some work, journal and plan my week.

It’s been amazing. I was very much against getting up early – I used to hate it. I guess this means I’m getting old. 😂

I’ve seen more sunrises in 1 month than I have across my whole life. Might be a slight exaggeration but not by much.

Some of my orchids are going well considering I’ve barely done anything with the poor things. Others have given up the ghost. They’ll need to go in the compost bin.

I’ve been working hard to get even more products into my shop. Below are a few. I’m very happy with the designs I e got going. Just this month, I’ve had to tackle a massive issue thrown at me which leads me to think that I may have a few big decisions o make regarding my business.

Our youngest son had a couple of stay and play sessions at his new daycare. He seemed to have liked them so far. Let’s see how he goes.

Meal Prep this weekend was easier – the kids are on holiday and with grab ma for lunches. I’ll be taking mostly meals I’ve cooked the last couple of weeks to clear the freezer out.
