Whispers Weekly Update 07/10/2024

This week has been busy! The kids were back to school, my middle child off to camp for 3 long days after summer soccer started. Our youngest definitely missed his older brother, they get on so well. Holidays are so much easier, especially now that not all of the kids have to be at Daycare.

The last week has been fun I guess. I’m enjoying work more, I seem to get a whole lot more done in a day. I’m also able to focus a lot better. I have been able to pick my eldest son up from school, who I’ve forgotten twice already. Whoops – it’s only the second week of school.

My Business – Blue Unicorn Home.

I haven’t been able to do as much work on my business this week. I’ve unfortunately been really exhausted and needed to take a bit of some time for myself to get a little more rest.

I have been able to create a few more items. It’s really the social media aspect I’m not great at. I really let myself down with it. I need to make more of an effort to get better at that.

Losing Weight

Continuing with the weight lose I have t lost any extra this week but I’m feeling much better. I’ve also found it pretty easy to stay with in my caloric budget without feeling hungry but also managing when we had Hungry Jacks. It hasn’t all been goal kicking and easy. I’ve been incredibly tired this week. I’m not sure if that’s my work load or maybe I’m not eating enough green food. Or maybe it’s my iron again. I will have to keep an eye on how I’m feeling.

Meal prep this week consisted of:

Rice Pudding
Jelly and Fruit
Chicken and Prawn Egg Fried Rice
Cottage Cheese, Egg and Bacon Bake
Savoury Mince and Rice

Organisation

I’ve fallen down on this one this week a little. I did manage to prep my week’s meals, and I have organised what meals we are having for each evening. That’s where it ended I’m afraid. I’m not used to having to be so organised but it’s becoming a must so we aren’t scrambling to get everything done that we need to. It was a little insane and stressful in the afternoons. It’s only going to get busier.

I threaten myself to a few phone cases – I dropped my pretty purple phone, the back is now cracked for the first time ever. I’m devastated. It has provided me with the perfect opportunity to buy some of my own cases. It was unbelievably hard to decide with ones to get. They are excellent quality. The print colour is amazing, it’s bright and vibrant. The high gloss is super shiny and they are TOUGH! I am super happy with them.
